Biografie
Death Kiss Candy zünden einen explosiven Cocktail aus düsteren Klängen, bittersüssen Gefühlen und rauchigem Whiskey. Eine Mischung, die man am liebsten in einem verruchten Konzert Keller geniesst: Ohne Schnickschnack – möglichst vernebelt, möglichst dunkel.
Die Musik verführt uns in die Welt der Gegensätze, irgendwo zwischen Shoegaze und Metal. Man schwebt zwischen harmonischen, leichten Klängen, lässt sich von Wave Gitarren treiben und bekommt im nächsten Moment ein dickes Brett an düsterer Power um die Ohren gehauen. Tiefgründig und ehrlich eben.
Death Kiss Candy lebt von Kontrasten, was sich auch im bestechenden Gesang von Laura und Flavio widerspiegelt: Gegensätzliche Stimmen, die sich immerzu anziehen und umarmen, um sich danach wieder mit voller Energie zu bekämpfen. Schmerzlich und schön zugleich.
Durch ihre Herkunft aus total unterschiedlichen Sphären packt jeder der fünf Musiker seine eigene Spezialität in den Death Kiss Candy-Mix, was den abgründigen und bittersüssen Geschmack perfekt macht.
Musikalisch verwurzelt sind DKC in der Schaffhauser Musikszene.
Die Band DKC ist jung, die Mitglieder hingegen sind erfahrene MusikerInnen mit Auftritten auf nationalen und internationalen Bühnen.
Die Wege der einzelnen Mitglieder kreuzten sich schon jahrelang auf unterschiedlichste Art und Weise. Der gemeinsame Nenner, die Leidenschaft zur Musik, gab den Anstoss, die Wege nicht nur zu kreuzen, sondern zusammenzuführen.

Roger –Gitarrist bei Infected Noise, 12 Inch Punch, selbständiger Musiklehrer, Gründung der eigenen Musikschule RMS.
Dani – ist bisher noch nicht öffentlich aufgetreten, was nichts heissen soll. Er ist Musiker durch und durch, ein versierter Drummer und Gitarrist zugleich, spielte in diversen Projekten, auch mit Roger Egli, halt eben nie vor grösserem Publikum. Mit einer Sammlung von über 1000 LPs ist er definitiv als Musik-Nerd einzustufen.
Biography
Death Kiss Candy ignite an explosive cocktail of dark sounds, bittersweet feelings and smoky whiskey. A mixture that is best enjoyed in a wicked Concert venue: No frills – as foggy as possible, as dark as possible.
The music seduces us into a world of contrasts, somewhere between shoegaze and metal. You float between harmonious, light sounds, let yourself drift with wave guitars and then the next moment you’re hit with a thick slab of dark power. Profound and honest.
Death Kiss Candy thrives on contrasts, which is also reflected in the captivating vocals of Laura and Flavio: Opposing voices that constantly attract and embrace each other, only to fight each other again with full energy. Painful and beautiful at the same time.
Due to their origins in totally different spheres, each of the five musicians brings their own specialty to the Death Kiss Candy mix, which makes the abysmal and bittersweet taste perfect.
DKC are musically rooted in the Schaffhausen music scene. However, the experienced musicians played on national and international stages long before DKC was founded.
The paths of the individual members have crossed again and again in many different ways. The common denominator, a passion for music, provided the impetus to not only cross paths, but to bring them together.

Dani – hasn’t appeared in public yet, which doesn’t mean anything. He is a musician through and through, an accomplished drummer and guitarist at the same time, played in various projects, including with Roger Egli, but never in front of a larger audience. With a collection of over 1000 LPs, he can definitely be classified as a music nerd.
